Hejdå fina våning! | Goodbye dearly loved appartment.

Godmorgon! Här är nu lite fina bilder på vår våning här på Birger Jarlsgatan. Just nu ser det INTE så här fint ut. Mest saker överallt och massa massa flyttkartonger. Vi flyttade in här för drygt fem år sedan och vi renoverade våningen genomgående och vi målade om alla väggar, tak och snickerier, slipade golven samt bytte ut hela köket och stora badrummet, inklusive golv. Fortfarande helnöjd med resultatet!

Good Morning! Here are now a suit of nice pics of our apartment here at Birger Jarlsgatan. The apartment is not looking as nice at this now. Things everywhere and boxes piling up. We moved here five years ago and we re-decorated the apartment thoroughly; painting all the walls, ceiling and wood works, stripping the floor and change the whole kitchen and big bathroom, including the floor. Still really pleased with the result.

Och denna sången passar så bra till att nu ta farväl av vår fina våning! Tack Mimsan. Så sorligt är det, men ett nytt kapitel påbörjas i våra liv, och det är ju inte så tråkigt!

And this song suits my mood taking farewell of this nice apartment!! Thank you Mimmi. So a sad moment, but new chapters are opening up in our lifes, which is not too bad either!

Så i eftermiddag vid fem stänger jag dörren och släpper ner nycklarna i brevinkastet. Flyttlaset går om några veckor men imorgon åker jag tillbaka till maken. På återhörande! Catharina

Inredningsprojekt Värtavägen. | Interior Design project Värtavägen.

Godmorgon! Här kommer nu lite bilder på min dotter Gaby nya lägenhet. Detta är mitt första stora inredningsprojekt, sedan jag gick inredningskurs på Sköna Hem. Såå kul och spännande!! Förutom att ha huvudet i flyttkartonger så är det full fart med ihopsamlande av fakta, möten med byggmästare samt funderingar kring färg- och materialval på kök, väggar, golv mm mm. Ovan ser ni vardagsrummet.

Good Morning! Here are now some pics from my daughter Gaby's new apartment that I will redecorate!! This will be my truly first assignment, since my interior design course in the autumn. Really really exciting! So between packing up the old apartment I'm collecting information and have different meetings with the builders and different vendors for kitchen, floors, furniture with choices of material and colours etc etc. Above you can see the living room.

Och det stora badrummet. Så här ser det ut nu men vi kommer att ändra på det mesta. Ni kommer att få se vår mood board på måndag, spännande eller hur? Nu skall vi iväg för att kolla på lägenheten (första gången för Gaby sedan vi fick tillgång till lägenheten) och de färgval vi gjort samt lite andra detaljer (ni ser ju lite av vad ni kan förvänta er ovan) samt därefter golv, lite olika köksinredningar samt ett kul företag som gör spännande kontakter och skåphandtag. Now we are off to the apartment (first time for Gaby since we bought it) to check the colours (you can see some of the choices above) and a couple of other details, then we will check new floors, some alternatives for the kitchen and a fun company that design really nice plugs and handles to kitchen cabinets. Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2017.

Godkväll! Var på Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair i fredags. Första gången jag var på en inredningsmässa. Mina tidigare mässor har varit med jobbet och då kollade jag in nya psykologiska test från olika förlag, så TOTALT annorlunda. Det jag dock lärde mig är att hitta en bra system för att täcka alla montrar, så snabbt och effektivt som möjligt. Stockholmsmässan är ju inte sååå stor så gjorde ett bra jobb och lyckades täcka in mässan och de flesta montrar på 4 timmar. Plockade massa broschyrer och kataloger så sista timman, var TUNG! Mycket fint och mycket inspiration!! Tog massa bilder och nedan följer en bildsvit. Hoppas att det inspirerar!!!

Good evening! Visited Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair on Friday. First time I was on this kind of fair. All my previous experience is from work, reviewing and exploring new psychology tests from different publishers, so TOTALLY different. However, learned how to find walk up and down the aisles in the most effective way. And Stockholmmässan is not too big, so managed to see basically everything in +4 hours. Picked up a lot of brochures and catalogs, so the last our was HEAVY!! A lot of very nice things and a lot of inspiration!!! Took a lot of photos so here is a summary. Hope it inspires you!!
