Godmorgon! Vaknade upp hos mina fd svärföräldrar tidigt idag då jag behöver åka hem snart för att fortsätta packa flyttkartonger. Igår planerade vi julen, som de firar hos oss i Flachau, med mina tjejer. Kul va!! 

Ovan ser ni mina hjärtan som jag gjorde i massor i porslinslera. Använde tårtpapper för att göra mönstet och pepparkaksformar i tre olika storlekar. Glaseringen var bara en genomskinlig glasyr. Hänger dem lite överallt samt pryder presenter. Nu till julen i lärkgrenar men också i julgranen. 

Good morning! Up early this morning at my ex in-laws with another busy day of packing the apartment. We made plans for Christmas, which they will celebrate with us in Flachau, together with my girls. An unexpected friendship that goes beyond family ties! 

Above you see decorations that I made from Chinese clay, and I made a lot. I used cake paper to make the pattern and three different sizes of gingerbread molds. The glace here was just a transparent one. I hang them all over the house and do also put them on presents as part of the wrapping. Now for the winter also in Christmas tree and also on larch tree bransches all over the house. 

I våras gjorde jag fyra små vaser i vit lera med två i vitt blank glasyr och två med vit matt glasyr med små fötter till som limmades på separat. 

This spring I made four small vases in white clay with both mate and shiny glace, together with small feet that needed to be glued on. 

Ovan ser ni en skärbräda samt ett fat i vit lera med två olika gråa glasyrer som jag använde när jag lagade kvällens efterrätt; Panna Cotta tidigare i somras.

Och förra hösten gjorde jag denna stora krukan i svart lera med svart matt glasyr. Också med små fossingar på. 

Last autumn I did this pot in black clay with black mate glace. Also with small feet on. 

Här har jag samlat lite av det jag har gjort genom åren.  I vit lera med vit blank glasyr stor blomkruka som jag ringlat x2,  små espressokoppar som jag tummat x 6, några små fat för diverse saker(allt från mat till nycklar eller smycken) samt i röd lera med vit glasyr har jag gjort en hel middagsservis, ovan ser ni de djupa tallrikarna och dessa har jag använd färdiga former för samt koppar till mig och tjejerna + gäst i olika färger som jag har gjort som typ ett pepparkakshus. Allt är flitigt använt och det känns mysigt!! 

Above I have collected a small amount of what I have produced over the years. In white clay with white shiny glace large flower pot x2, espresso mugs x6 and some small dishes that can be used for everything. In red clay with white shiny glace I have made a whole set of dinner plates; small, large and deep ones, and above you see the deep ones. I also did individual mugs for us three girls with our names on + one for a Guest. All used on a daily basis, which feels very nice!

Och i maj nästa år åker jag med min svägerska Tess Mabon till Köpenhamn. Vi skall gå på Tortus Copenhagen drejkurs i en hel vecka!!. Skall bli såååå kul! Efter det räknar jag med att vara en fena på drejning!!!! Alla workshops är fullbokade 2017 så vi hade tur som fick plats!!! 

Vi hörs av senare i veckan. Packning av lägenhet (inte kul) och packning av väskor för vår USA-resa (kul!!). Ni tittar väl in senare i veckan också? Kram Catharina

And will in the May next year attend a week long course learning how to work with the wheel together with my sister-in-law Tess Mabon in Copenhagen!!! We will attend Tortus Copenhagen workshop! Then I will be an expert on the wheel, hopefully! All workshops for 2017 are fully booked so we were lucky!!

I will be back later this week. A lot of packing this week, first the apartment (not so fun!) and then the bags for our upcoming US-trip (fun!!). You will look in later this week to me, right? Ciao, Catharina
