Hej, när jag skall koncentrera mig på en längre arbetsuppgift under en längre tid så klarar jag inte av att lyssna på poddar, lugn musik eller att ha tyst. Jag behöver lyssna på något som ger mig energi, inte bara lite, utan mycket. Så då sätter jag på spellistor med tyngre musik. De är inte många men de går på repeat, dag ut och dag in. Dessa är mina favoritspellistor:

Black Coffee från Sydafrika. Hans This is Black Coffee är så bra. Denna lyssnade jag på i massor när jag planerade och förberedde min yngsta dotters bröllop våren och sommaren 2024.

Hi, when I have to concentrate on a longer task for a longer period of time, I can't handle listening to podcasts, calm music, or being quiet. I need to listen to something that gives me energy, not just a little, but a lot. So then I put on playlists with heavier music. There aren't many of them, but they go on repeat, day in and day out. These are my favorite playlists:

Black Coffee from South Africa. His This is Black Coffee is so good. I listened to this a lot when I was planning and preparing for my youngest daughter's wedding in the spring and summer of 2024.

Kneecap med nya albumet Fenian dök upp som en ny favorit nu i maj efter att jag lyssnat på P1 kultur och de pratade om denna skivan, som har fått stående ovationer.

Kneecap with the new album Fenian emerged as a new favorite this May after I listened to P1 Kultur and they talked about this album, which has received a standing ovation.

Och en bubblare; Bob Dylan. Maken älskar Bob Dylan sedan har var ung och vi har alltid lyssnat på främst två album när vi har varit ute och åkt långt, Street Legal och Hurricane. Så Bob Dylan har varit med i mitt liv de senaste 20 åren, först med en hel del motstånd men efter hand så har jag verkligen börjat tycka om hans musik. Till och med så mycket att jag och mina döttrar gick på en konsert med honom för ett antal år sedan.

Efter lite motstånd såg jag den senaste filmen om honom A Complete Unknow som handlar om hans genombrott i 1960-talets New York. Jag har till och med sett filmen två gånger. Och jag skulle kunna se den igen. Japp!! Så fint att se hans talang redan som ung, och som folkvisesångare och hur han sedan utvecklades. Och just från denna filmen har jag blivit förtjust i hans tidiga verk. Det trodde jag aldrig skulle hända. Så även fast det är lugnare musik på Bob Dylan; Greatest Hits än de tre albumen / spellistorna ovan så kvalar den absolut in.

And a Dark Horse for me; Bob Dylan. My husband has loved Bob Dylan since he was young and we have always listened to two albums when we have been out and about, Street Legal and Hurricane. So Bob Dylan has been in my life for the past 20 years, at first with a lot of resistance but gradually I have really started to like his music. Even so much that my daughters and I went to a concert with him a few years ago.

After a little resistance I saw the latest film about him A Complete Unknown which is about his breakthrough in 1960s New York. I have even seen the film twice. And I could see it again. Yep!! So great to see his talent already as a young man, and as a folk singer and how he then developed. And it was precisely from this film that I became fond of his early work. I never thought that would happen. So even though there is calmer music on Bob Dylan; Greatest Hits than the three albums / playlists above, it definitely qualifies.

Hej, på dig och hej lördag! Jag / vi kollar en del på serier men nu när jag tänkte ge några tips så kommer jag inte ihåg så många men här är mina bästa tips just nu. De är inte helt nya serier men mycket värda att se på. Så i detta inlägg blir det tre serier. Först ut är MobLand.

MobLand är en serie på Parmount+ - Pierce Brosnan och Helen Mirren, spelar ett gift par och de leder gangsterfamiljen Harrigan, och de har Tom Hardy som deras hänsynslösa fixare. Och jag måste säga, han är så snygg och cool i denna serien. Ojoj! Guy Ritchie regisserar. Många av hans filmer / serie är oftast ganska “killiga” men den serien är mer “balanserad”, eller kanske inte. hehe

Och jag älskar ledmotivet i serien Starburster med Fontaines D.C., som för övrigt är med i en del serier de senaste året.

Hello you and hello Saturday! I / we watch a lot of series but now that I thought of giving some tips I don't remember many but here are my best tips, right now. They are not brand new series but very worth watching. So in this post there will be three series. First up is MobLand.

MobLand is a series on Parmount+ - Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, are married couple and they lead the gangster family Harrigan, and they have Tom Hardy as their ruthless fixer. And I have to say, he is so handsome and cool in this series. Oh my! Guy Ritchie directs. Many of his films / series are usually quite “guyish” but this is is more “balanced”, or maybe not? haha

And I love the theme song in the series Starburster with Fontaines D.C., who has also been in some series in recent years.

Nästa serie handlar om familjen Murdaugh. Familjen Murdaugh är (var?) en juridisk dynasti i kustområdet runt South Carolina, USA, där tre generationer kontrollerade den lokala åklagarmyndigheten. Det är en tragedi på flera olika plan, men där saker eskalerade när yngsta sonen Paul är inblandad i en dödlig båtolycka ställs familjen inför en prövning som de aldrig tidigare ställts inför. Och där pappan Alex Murdaugh fälldes för att ha mördat sin fru och sin son Paul. Sorligt och skrämmande.

Jag har en fascination för att se dokumentärer och sedan följer jag upp detta med att lyssnar på podcasts, eller om en bok har givits ut, så läser jag boken. När det gäller detta familjedrama såg jag dokumentären om familjen på Netflix Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal för ett par år sedan och sedan tittade jag filmatiseringen under senhösten på Disney Murdaugh Death in the family.

The next series is about the Murdaugh family. The Murdaugh family is (was?) a legal dynasty in the coastal area of South Carolina, USA, where three generations controlled the local prosecutor's office. It's a tragedy on many levels, but where things escalated when the youngest son Paul is involved in a fatal boating accident, the family is faced with a trial they've never faced before. And where the father, Alex Murdaugh, was convicted of murdering his wife and son Paul. Sad and scary.

I have a fascination with watching documentaries and then I follow this up with listening to podcasts, or if a book has been published, I read the book. As for this family drama, I saw the documentary about the family on Netflix Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal a couple of years ago and then I watched the film adaptation in late autumn on Disney Murdaugh Death in the family.

Tredje och sista serien är I Love LA på HBO. Man (= jag) måste / vill ju hänga med och se och lyssna på vad de unga gör, och hur de ser på livet och hur det gestaltas. I Love LA handlar om medberoende och hur ett ärelystet kompisgäng tar sig fram i livet och utforskar kärleken i Los Angeles. De är ett gäng som konstruerar sin egen verklighet och där internet och influencers spelar huvudrollen i deras konstruerade verklighet.

Kommande serier på min lista står Industry och DTF St. Louis, båda på HBO. Den senare har premiär på måndag i nästa vecka, så här känner jag att jag ligger i framkant, haha

The third and final series is I love LA på HBO. You (= me) have / wants to keep up and watch and listen to what the young people do, and how they view life and how it is portrayed. I Love LA is about co-dependency and how an ambitious group of friends make their way through life and explore love in Los Angeles. They are a group that constructs their own reality and where the internet and influencers play the main role in their constructed reality.

Upcoming series on my list are Industry and DTF St. Louis, both on HBO. The latter premieres on Monday next week, so I feel like I'm ahead of the curve, haha
