Bonjour Paris.

Hej, i lördags kom vi fram till våra kompisar vid lunch. De bor i ett town house i Paris och de har en stor härlig familj, där alla deras barn är utflugna, men denna helgen var alla hemma. Plus vi samt våra kompisar från Australien; Anne och John. Så huset är fullt.

Och Paris hade 41 grader!!!

Ovan är vi på en rundvandring i Marise-kvarteren innan middagen o vi är röda i ansiktet och genomsvettiga… men glada…

Hi! We arrived at our friends' place around lunchtime last Saturday. They live in a townhouse in Paris and have a wonderful, large family; although their children have all moved out, everyone was home this weekend. Plus us, and our friends from Australia—Anne and John—so the house is packed.

And Paris hit 41 degrees!!!

In the photo above, we’re on a walking tour of the Marais district before dinner; our faces are flushed and we’re drenched in sweat... but happy...

Vi var inne och besökte flera av de ’gömda’ trädgårdar som finns i Maraise.

We were inside and visited several of the 'hidden' gardens in the Maraise.

Och alla coola ställen där unga, snygga människor var…

Vi mötte upp ungdomarna på Rosie. Stimmigt, högljudd och jättegod mat…

Vi prövade på gratinerade sniglar och gåslever. Fantastiskt gott!

We tried au gratin snails and foie gras. Fantastically good!

Sedan vandrade vi runt i ett sommarvarmt Paris och tog Metron hem.

Then we wandered around in a hot summer Paris and took the Metro home.
