Förra torsdagen. | Last Thursday.

Hej, ja jag vet! Bilden är suddig men tycker den visar hur mysiga mina tjejer är!!! Och hur mysigt kan man egentligen ha med sina egna barn? Hur mysigt som helst om du frågar mig!! Vi har spenderat mycket tid tillsammans nu när jag var hemma. Jag bodde hos dem på helgerna och efter operationen kom de ut till Näsbypark och höll mig sällskap. Vi har varit på bio, varit ute och ätit både brunch och middagar, myst, gått på museum, pratat strunt, pratat om livet, varit på AW, shoppat, kollat på tv-serier ihop och kikat på lite saker att fixa med i deras respektive lägenheter mm mm. Vi fick alla tre frågan från våra respektive kompisar, meeen skall du umgås med din mamma/dina döttrar denna kvällen/helgen också??? Ja, men visst!!! Varför inte??

Hello, yes I know!! The photo is a bit blurry but I think it shows the essence of the joy I have with these two! And they have with each other. It’s amazing how much I enjoy spending time with both of them!! This time we have spend a lot of time together. I have stayed with them in town during the weekends and post-op that have been with me at home. We have been to the cinema, we have been out eating, being at museums, talking about nothing, talking about important things, been shopping, going to AW, checking out TV-series and checking out their apartments on what to improve etc etc We got the question from our respective friends; buuuuut are you spending time with your mom/daughters again??? Yes!!! Of course!!!!

Förra torsdagen var min sista kväll hemma för denna gången och vi hade vi bestämt att vi skulle mysa tillsammans. Vi hade tänkt att gå på bio och se The Favourite men den gick endast dagtid (?), så då sa vi att vi ses och ser vad det blir. Först träffade jag Gaby för att kolla på badrumsinredning. Äntligen har hon fått godkänt för att renovera sitt badrum. Hon hade en galet stor jacuzzi och ingen dusch så det vill vi ändra på. Vi fick bra hjälp och information om vad vi skall välja när det gäller ffa dusch och toa. Sedan mötte vi upp Mimmi i Kungsträdgården, där vi tog massa bilder på varandra under de vackra körsbärsträden. Visst blev den fina bilder?

Last Thursday was my last evening at home for this time and we have decided to spend time together. We thought about going to the movies and watch The Favorite but it was only showings during the day (?) so we decided to be spontaneous. First Gaby and I meet up to check out things for her bathroom. She has finally got approval to renovate it. So instead of a huge jacuzzi with no shower we want a shower and a toilet. Makes sense right? We hade some ideas and wanted to check it out IRL and we got really good help, which helped us a lot regards the choices we need to make. Then we meet up Mimmi at Kungsträdgården to check out the cherry blossom. It’s really beautiful and really busy with people. We got some good pics, right?

Hade ju inte planerat att vara i Stockholm från vinter till vår och reste med bara handbagage. Men hittade i gömmorna min DKNY kappa och min rosavita randiga kostym, båda från tidigt 00-tal, hehe Men tycker fortfarande att de håller stilen. Gaby har fin rosapudrig kappa från Filippa K.

Hadn’t planned to be home for so many months and arrived in the middle of the winter with carry on luggage. But found some stuff in a couple of boxes that I still have in store and there I found my old coat from DKNY and the pink white striped suit. Both from early 00’s but still rather ok, right? Gaby’s coat is from Filippa K.

Gaby heter ju Gabriella då jag alltid tyckt om just Gabriella, med smeknamn Gaby, så klart. Sedan heter hon Claire i andra namn för när jag bodde i San Francisco i början på 90-talet umgicks jag mycket med min ex-mans syssling Claire, och hon var så gullig.

Gaby’s real name is, yes, Gabriella. I have always liked the name, which in short gives Gaby. Then her second name is Claire, because when I lived in San Fransisco early 90’s I spend a lot of time with my ex-husbands first removed cousin Claire, and she was so sweet.

Jag och Mimmi! Eller snarare Mimmi och Mimmi. Japp, mitt smeknamn när jag var liten var Mimmi, därav att Mimmi blev Mimmi. Men hon heter ju också Alexandra, i första namn och Mimmi i andra namn. Så en Alexandra Mimmi och en Catharina Ann-Sofi (kort och käckt, eller inte?).

Me and Mimmi! Or rather Mimmi and Mimmi! Yes, my nickname when I grew up was Mimmi, therefore I wanted a Mimmi, and I got one. Her full name is Alexandra Mimmi and my full name is Catharina Ann-Sofi (short and sweat, not).

Sedan tyckte vi att det var dags för något att dricka. Det hade blivit lite kyligt så vi bestämde oss för att gå till KB. KB = Konstnärsbaren var populär typ 80-tal (ja, då var vi i detta årtionde igen). Vi hittade ett bord och beställde in en flaska bubbel. Tack Mimsan! Och vi pratade, pratade och pratade. Tur att man kan multitaska, mao hålla flera ämnen/samtal igång samtidigt. Ja, vi pratar ju inte bara utan vi skvallrar, skrattar och har det allmänt kul.

Then it was time for something to drink. It was a bit chilly so we decided to go indoor and we found at table at KB. This is a bar and a restaurant that was very popular during the 80’s (yes, this century again…). We drank prosecco, thank you Mimmi! And we talked, talked and talked. Good that we are all good at multi tasking since we are talking about three things (at least) at the same time. Well, we do gossip and we also laugh a lot, as well. Not only talking, sound a bit boring, right?

Sedan blev vi hungriga och tänkte prova Asian Post Office men de hade inga bord så vi gick till Ling Long som ligger vid Story Hotel, också med asiatiskt mat. Och vi tre dricker ALLTID drinkar när vi är tillsammans, en lång och rolig tradition. Så naturligtvis blev det varsin drink. Kolla vilket snygg isblock Gaby fick i sitt glas!! Vi beställde in massa smårätter! Maten var riktigt riktigt god och vi åt tills vi var proppmätta!! Kan absolut rekommendera Ling Long. De skall också ha riktigt bra vego luncher. Vi orkade inte äta upp allt utan det fick bli två doggybags, en var till tjejerna. Sedan tog vi sällskap till tunnelbanan och tog tre olika tåg hem. Var hemma vid tolv och dagen därpå flög jag hem till maken. Perfekt kombination. Ciao Catharina

Then we needed some food! We wanted to try Asian Post Office but they didn’t have any table (25th each month in Stockholm means the day you get your salary so the whole city if full, including the following weekend, then the money is finished, hehe and then it gets less busy, a bit anyway) but we got at table at Ling Long at Story Hotel. An Asian fusion restaurant. A tradition for the three of us when are together is that we ALWAYS are having a drink. A long and fun tradition. And check out the ice block in Gaby’s drink above. Really nice! Can recommend Ling Long, absolutely!! They have very good vego lunches as well. We ordered a lot of food and shared them all, really tasty man of them. But we couldn't eat them all so we got two doggy backs for the girls. Then we made company to the underground and took three different trains, in basically three directions. I was home at twelve and the day after I flew home to husband. Perfect combination!! Ciao Catharina
