Hej, söndag och hej på dig! Hur har du det? Vi har nu varit på vår Game Lodge i snart fyra dagar här i Sydafrika. Vi lämnade vårt älskade Flachau i onsdags eftermiddag. Vi tog vår bil till Salzburgs flygplats och lämnade den där på långtidsparkeringen.

Hello, Sunday and hello you! How are you? We have now been at the Game Lodge for almost four days here in South Africa. We left our beloved Flachau on Wednesday afternoon. We took our car to Salzburg airport and left it there in the long-term parking lot.

Flyget till Frankfurt blev lite försenat så vi köpte champagne i Salzburg, för att fira vår bröllopsdag dagen därpå. Så skönt att bara ta med en liten handväska som handbagage. Första gången på många år. Det känns som att jag alltid kånkar på bagage. Och tungt är det med dator, laddare mm mm

The flight to Frankfurt was a bit delayed so we bought champagne in Salzburg, to celebrate our wedding anniversary the following day. So nice to only bring a small handbag as hand luggage. First time in many years. It feels like I always have to carry luggage. And it's heavy with a computer, charger etc.

Vi lyxade till det och uppgraderade oss till business class. Åh vilken skillnad. Härligt! Lyxigt!! Flygresan gick jättesnabbt. Tack vare komforten. Vi bordade vid 22-tiden.

We splurged and upgraded to business class. Oh what a difference. Lovely! Luxurious!! The flight went really fast. Thanks to the comfort. We boarded at 10pm.

Och vi landade vid halv nio. Passkontrollen i Johannesburg gick relativt fort och visumet var i sin ordning för maken. Vi blev upphämtade av våra kompisar; Keith och Barbara och vi åkte mot Ladysmith och Game Lodgen. Just ja, vi stannade för kaffe och för att köpa kommande veckas mathandling. And we landed at half past eight. the passport control in Johannesburg went relatively quickly and the visa was in order for my husband. We were picked up by our friends; Keith and Barbara and we headed towards Ladysmith and the Game Lodge. That's right, we stopped for coffee and to buy food for the coming week. More about that in the next post.

Maken och jag firade vår 21:a bröllopsdag i torsdags.

My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary last Thursday.
