Hej, har ni börjat fundera på vad ni skall göra på sommarsemestern? Sugen på medelhavet? Då kan jag rekommendera Kroatien. Jag älskar Kroatien!

Att åka till Kroatien är ju bekvämast med flyg då det ligger i södra i Europa. Största flygplatsen är Zagreb, vilket ju också är Kroatiens huvudstad. Sedan finns de mindre flygplatser runt om. från norr till söder. Att åka tåg till ( i Kroatien tar tid eller är inte möjligt, då deras tågnät inte är speciell uppbyggt. Men läste att de skulle byggas ut. Ett annat sätt är att bila ner, se tips här.

Traveling to Croatia can be down by either flying, going with train or car. The least accessible one is train, since they haven’t, so far, been investing in building out the railroads. Check out here how it is to drive down.

Så varför åka till Kroatien? Jo, för sol, salta bad, vacker natur, jättetrevliga människor, jättegod mat och då framförallt deras frukt och grönsaker samt fisk och skaldjur. Tror ALDRIG jag har ätit så mycket fantastisk god fisk och goda skaldjur som jag gjort här. Och allt till helt rimliga priser, mycket rimligt! Förutom när vi var på Korcula (en jättevacker ö i södra Kroatien) förra året, men det var undantaget som bekräftar regeln.

Vi tycker om kombinationen att komma “hem” till Porec men att blanda upp det nya plaster. Förra sommaren åkte vi en vecka till Korcula. Fantastiskt!! Dit kommer vi definitivt att åka tillbaka, massa gånger. Förmodligen åker vi dit nästa sommar.

Why go to Croatia? Well, for the sun, salty water, beautiful nature, very nice people, the best food and especially the vegetables and fruit as well as the fish and the seafood. It is awesome. And everything to very reasonable prices. Except for our little misfortune in Korcula (a beautiful island in South Croatia) last year. But maybe that was the exception to the rule.

We love coming “home” to Porec but each year we also discover new places. A very nice combination of new and old. Last year we spend a week at Korcula. Fabulous!!! We will definitely go back there. Probably already next summer!

Vi har ju seglat, åkt motorbåt, varit både i norr, mitten och i söder och vi gifte oss i Dubrovnik. Och naturligtvis varit oändligt många gånger i Porec, som ligger i norra Kroatien. Känns som att komma hem. Kolla här för lite blandat bandat om Kroatien, med i mitt tycke många fina bilder som ger rätt känsla.

We have been sailing, going around the islands with motorboat, been to north, in the middle and in the South as well as we got married in Dubrovnik. And of course, a numerous time to our “hometown” Porec, in the north of Croatia. Och snart skall jag åka dit, så mysigt! Längtar! Maken har bokat två veckor i Porec, naturligtvis. Vi gör nog en avstickare till Zagreb också samt hittar på lite allmänt kul och sedan också bara mysa tillsammans. Det var ju nu ett tag sedan som vi såg, närmare bestämt 3 1/2 månad. Galet lång tid. Och vi skall också ha kul med alla våra kompisar! Sedan har vi bokat en vecka till, första veckan i juli, då vi skall fira att mina duktiga tjejer har tagit sina examina. Familj och vänner samlas i en vecka. Sedan får vi se!

And soon I will be here, so much looking forward to this. Husband has booked two weeks, in Porec, of course. We will probably also go to Zagreb and then do a couple of fun things as well as just relaxing and spending time together. We have been apart now for 3 1/2 months, crazy. Just the two of us, and of course with friends as well! Then we have also booked another week, the first week in July, then we will celebrate my two daughters achievement for graduating university with friends and family. Then we will see.
